On the occasion of the centennial Aurora Penne gets a makeover and launches “Cento % Italia”

Founded in 1919, the historic Aurora Pen Manufacture reached the important milestone of 100 years this year.

On the strength of a turnover that has doubled in five years and continues to grow, and after closing the year by opening its first Italian monobrand boutique on Via del Babuino in Rome, the Turin-based maison begins its first centenary celebrations by giving itself a new look.

With the collaboration of Italdesign – Giugiaro a new CENTO! logo was created, which while respecting the distinctive stylistic features and colors of the original logo wanted to enhance its dynamism and innovative spirit and where the lettering strictly in Italian is meant to emphasize the pride of belonging to a nation whose manufacturing excellence is a true model for the whole world.

And in the same spirit it presents the “Cento % Italia” line: 10 iconic pens from Aurora’s history, symbolizing 10 decades, revisited and each made in only 100 numbered pieces for both Italy and abroad.

Pens in the “Cento % Italia” line will be launched monthly starting in February, every 19th of the month, recalling the year the Manufacture was founded in 1919, and excluding August.

The first pen unveiled will be an Aurora Edo fountain pen in black resin, chrome trim, and 14 Kt rhodium-plated nib, embellished with an exclusive bright red case back.

Public price €350

“Every moment in our history has allowed us to grow,
