What types of refill exist?

The inks: For fountain pens and rollers, the inks used are water based: the stroke is more fluid but it takes a few seconds for the ink to dry; on the other hand, ballpoint pens use oil-based inks, denser and easier to apply thanks to the ball mechanism, and almost immediate drying.

The refills: The refills for the fountain pens can be in bottles (for pens with piston or converter filling) or in cartridges. Aurora always recommends the use of original refills, since the parameters of the ink spill mechanism are calibrated according to the fluidity characteristics of Aurora inks.
