Maintenance and advice
To guarantee a long life for your fountain-pen, you need just two things: love and cleanliness. Only in this way it will remain absolutely faithful.
As regards cleaning, Aurora recommends using exclusively cold water, loading and unloading the cartridge repeatedly, until the water is once again limpid and clean. To clean it externally simply use soap and water and, on completing the operation, ensure that it has been thoroughly dried.
Absolutely avoid any use of alcohol, solvents or hot water which could ruin your pen and compromise its surfaces. To eliminate any ink stains simply leave the pen in cold water, including for a few days.
If the pen should unfortunately be deformed due to a fall or impact, it is best not to try to repair it yourself, but entrust it to the hands of an expert. If possible it will be returned to you as new.
