He revolutionised Italian industrial design in the 1950s, introducing the use of body pressing by way of aluminium die-casting, to create objects with a continuous and organic form.

He also designed products for: Olivetti (Lexikon 80,  Lettera 22 and Lettera 32) and Necchi (Mirella).
